That's SACC Mall, it's located in Shah Alam. I arrived in Shah Alam at around 4.30pm yesterday. My flight from Kota Kinabalu was delayed 15 minutes due to air traffic jam, as been told by the female pilot.

I took a cab from LCCT to Shah Alam which cost me RM64.20. The cab driver was a Chinese old man, and to tell you the truth the ride with him was not pleasant at all. He was a pervert, which was kind of freaky. He kept on asking me if the girl at the toll counter was cute, or even the girl who stopped beside us when we were at a traffic light was not up to his taste. He also said he wouldn't mind as long as they were girls. He was making me uncomfortable. All I did was smile and nodded my head when I had nothing to say anymore. ivanjaya.net

When we were on our way to Section 7, we passed by Section 2. It was rather isolated, but not for long as starting today the diploma students will be coming in and tomorrow it's going to be our turn to register at our respective college.

So, I arrived at my brother's rented house and his house-mates thought that I was merely a friend. They didn't think that I was his younger sibling. Well, I didn't find that awkward at all as we don't have any resemblances at all. When I was at Guardian to get some toiletries, I got a text message from Alem saying that he was in Shah Alam. We decided to meet up at Big Apple, SACC (a reason why I'm using the picture above). We chatted about our ASASI time and talked about who will continue their study and where they'll be doing it. ivanjaya.net

I don't know what to do today. The registration for degree students will only be tomorrow and I've got nothing to do today. Maybe I'll just watch TV while I still can, and Facebooking, of course. I just can't wait to register tomorrow. The excitement to be degree students is unbearable. ivanjaya.net

Well, after a few days of waiting I finally got the result for my UPU application. As stated above, I'll be continuing my studies at the degree level in Teaching English as a Second Language or TESL for short. I'll be registering again at Kolej Meranti on the 27th June 2010.

I can't express with word how much happy I was when I got to know the result. I screamed to the top of my throat. Luckily no one was at home at that time. Supposedly, we only be able to know the result after 12pm on 18th June but a friend of mine who is also coursemate-to-be, Nad told me that a friend of hers found out a way to check it earlier, which was on the day of 17th June. I decided to try the method and guess what? It worked! So I decided to spread the word and also paste a print-screen photo of my result on Facebook. Basically, anyone who's in my friends list know how to "hack" UPU from me right after that.

I discovered that there will only be 5 of us, the original Merantians, who will be coming back there. Well, there was actually 6 of us but Faris decided that he wanted to pursue his study in IPBA instead. I will be accompanied by Adam, Anas, Akmal and Haziq. Surprisingly, Haziq will be joining us as a UiTM TESL student again. He wasn't get called for the MEdSI interview for UiTM, which means his MEdSI interview was meant for his 2nd choice institution, Malaysia National University or UKM for short. When he was all excited to get ready for UKM, he was shocked by the fact that he will go to UiTM instead. I must say, he got that opportunity simply because he went for MEdSI interview at INTEC and expressed his disappointment of not being chose to get back for MEdSI for UiTM whereas he was qualified. Maybe the interviewers checked his qualification (since they're UiTM staffs) and found out that he was indeed qualify to be called for UiTM.

I think my fellow readers would notice that I don't use any emoticon in my post right now. Well, I still have them in my editing panel but to tell you the truth I'm starting to get bored of using them. It's because every time I take time to use an emoticon (because of the fact that I need to drag them here and there), it somehow makes me forget what I was trying to say earlier, which is not a good thing considering I might fail to deliver the actual story and change it to a different direction altogether. But on the hand, I feel like I still want to use them though sometimes it can be cute watching them in action on my blog. So, I've made up my mind about it. I'm only gonna use emoticons at a very minimal extent but still I'm gonna use it whenever I need to. For example, if I want to make a "termotif" reaction, it will be represented as ivanjaya.net or ivanjaya.net or even ivanjaya.net.

I think I need to call it a day now. I've got a lot of things to settle the next morning and I don't think I'll be waking up early but I need to settle everything as early as possible because KK has the tendency to rain in the middle of the afternoon, and I hate bringing an umbrella along with me.

Okay, it creeps the hell out of me to look at the picture above but I just want to express how much angry and satisfied I am right now. ivanjaya.net

I was sleeping soundly this morning because I couldn't sleep till it was quarter past 5 in the morning, so I was having a pretty good sleep. I was awake by at 10 something, but I wasn't fully awake and I intended to continue my sleep because I feel light headed of not getting enough sleep. ivanjaya.net Suddenly, my phone rang. There it was playing Adam Lambert's Whataya Want From Me. I let it rang for 10 seconds and look at the screen of my Blueberry. It was a number that I didn't recognize. I cleared my throat, twice. I just wanted to make sure that I didn't sound like someone who had just gotten up from his sleep. ivanjaya.net

Me: Hello?

Someone: Hello. May I speak to Iz Rijap? (she was saying my real name actually)

Me: This is he. Can I help you?

Someone: Well, I'm the manager from McDonald's Airport branch. You applied for a job here for the crew position right? So, we would like for you to come for the interview this Friday.

Me: Err, I already have a job. (which I already quit!)

Someone: Really? (sounded surprised and disappointed) Where are you working right now?

Me: I work at KFC Putatan branch. (I worked at Petronas, by the way)

Someone: Owh really? What a waste...

Me: But I applied for the job way back in March. Why am I just get called now? (intrigued)

Someone: Seriously...??? (perplexed) Hurm, I don't why I didn't see your application before because there has been many applications we received.

Me: I waited too long to get called, that's why I had to find other job.

Someone: Maybe you can just come to the interview first. We'll tell you about the salary and who knows maybe you'll be interested...??? (trying to persuade me, huh?)

Me: I don't know. I mean, I already have a job here...

Someone: But you look so cute in your picture...

Me: ivanjaya.net

Someone: So, what say you?

Me: I'll see what I can do.

Someone: Ok sure. If you can come, be here at 3 pm on Friday. Thanks. See ya!

Me: ivanjaya.net
Well, that was what happened. The manager was insisting for me to come for the interview simply because she thought I was cute. ivanjaya.net I mean, I was really flattered with the compliment but did she really just ignore the fact that I can speak both English and Mandarin fluently as stated in my application form and asked me to come to the interview because she thought I can sell my look? ivanjaya.net I won't let my talent just go to waste. No, not just like that! ivanjaya.net (Tun Teja, 2010)

Well, if I'm not waiting for the UPU result, I might even try my luck and go for the interview, but what should I waste my time, right? ivanjaya.net Speaking of which, tomorrow is the day...!!! The day where I'll find out where am I going to continue my studies in the degree level. ivanjaya.net I hope everything will go smoothly tomorrow at 12pm, because I would love to be able to check my result right away and not to have problem with the server because of Internet traffic jam. ivanjaya.net

Let's keep our palm open to pray and fingers cross, so that I can get back to UiTM...!!!ivanjaya.net

This is my 71st post on my blog. I didn't realize that I've been blogging this much in my entire life as a blogger. ivanjaya.net Even though I'm not a celebrity blogger like Perez Hilton, I still like to blog about my life, and everything that revolves around it. ivanjaya.net

Owh, how much I missed my blog. It's been awhile since I've updated my blog. It's not that my life has been dull and don't have anything to write about. My holiday has been interesting, but the hectic and chaotic life of being a gas station staff was making me feel tired all day. ivanjaya.net

I quit my job last week. A complete whole month of working there was enough to teach me a few more things about the reality of the working world. ivanjaya.net After Eiqien quit being the Head Mesra, I had to take her place. I had to do everything all by myself. I was suddenly promoted as the assistant supervisor, even though I got the same pay with more responsibilities. ivanjaya.net It was exhausting till they found my new assistant, Kak Nurul. I called her "kak" because she's already married and she's just 25 years old. It was kinda awkward to have someone older than you to work under you. It felt ill at ease to boss around somebody that's already married but I guess I have more experience in doing the Mesra thingy so it was kinda okay. ivanjaya.net

I had my MEdSI interview when I was working there. I had to lie to the clerk (which was extravagantly annoying) by saying my paternal grandmother (who died years ago) has died. I had to do that to prevent them from deducting my salary because it cost me one-day-salary for being absent that day. Well, my salary got deducted anyway so it didn't worth the lie. ivanjaya.net I think I did great for my interview. I had to mock-teach on the topic Verb, I talked about PPSMI and all. They asked me if I were to be offered to continue my studies in UMS (the interview was held there) instead of UiTM, would I accepted the offer. I told them that if it was something that inevitable then I had no choice. Besides, the most crucial thing is for me to pursue TESL, no matter where I will be doing it. ivanjaya.net I think I was pretty convincing and confident during the interview. So. let's keep our fingers cross and hope that I'll get selected to come back to UiTM.

Few days ago, I bought a brand new phone. This is the first time for me to buy a Malaysian brand, and it's CSL Blueberry-@9350. The design looks really nice and BlackBerry-ish but trust me, this is the last time I'll buy this brand. I'll just have to hold on to this phone till I'll find another 2 phones that can replace this phone (because I put 2 numbers in one phone). I was attracted to buy this phone because of its dual-sim function, which enabled me to turn 2 numbers at a time and its QWERTY keypad. I didn't really care that it wasn't as good as the real BlackBerry because it can't be compared at all but this phone has been nothing but trouble to me. ivanjaya.net At first, I got myself a Black colored version of this phone but its software was conked out which made me unable to make any calls. Then I went back to the place where I bought the phone and they replace me with the White colored version as they were out of stock and apparently the one I bought was the only one they had, and unfortunately it was not good in condition. ivanjaya.net

I went back home only to realize that the battery was not at its good condition as well because its power easily gets worn out. I brought myself again to the shop and complaint about it. Unfortunately, they ran out of battery stock as well for my phone model and they asked me to go to the next building where CSL service center (which was closed on the day) is located. ivanjaya.net I went home that day only to realize that the camera wasn't functioning as it should be. Whenever I chose to take pictures in 3.2 megapixels, the phone will shut itself. I went to the shop again for the third time now and demanded for them to give me a new set. They refused to do so as they claimed I have scared the phone while I was using it. ivanjaya.net I got sicked of their excuse and went to the CSL service center instead and they gave me a new set, after tested to reformat the phone software but to no avail as the problem still occurred. Went back home, and same problem occurred. Called them to get me an explanation, they asked to to come to the service center, again. ivanjaya.net They couldn't figure out what is actually wrong with the phone. They asked me to hold on with the current set that I'm having right now and they'll get the info from KL headquarters about the problem. ivanjaya.net So far, the phone has been functioning well except for its camera. I'm still waiting for CSL service center to inform me what the fuck is the matter with this phone model. Till then, I'll have to bear with this phone. ivanjaya.net

In a few days time, the UPU result will be revealed. According to the website, the result will be held on 3rd week of June, which is probably between 14th-18th June and I haven't bought my flight ticket yet. I've checked the price and it'll cost me at least RM260++, if I buy it now. If I buy it later, of course it'll get more blood-sucking expensive. ivanjaya.net

I can't wait to find out where I'll be continuing my degree. Whether I'll be pursuing TESL in UiTM or UKM, or pursuing English for Professional Communication in Language Studies Academy in UiTM too, only God knows about it. Let's just hope I'll get selected to come back to UiTM. I'm one step closer to it...!!! ivanjaya.net
