Today, we had Listening & Speaking exam. I didn't actually sleep before the exam because I was chatting with Acap and Hakim. We didn't feel sleepy up until at 5 am. I slept for 2 hours or so when I woke up as I realized that the clock was 7.15am. I quickly got up because I'm sure I don't want to be late even for a minute because this is L&S, which we need to listen to people reading the texts.ivanjaya.net

I arrived at INTEC at 8.30am. I went to the toilet and when I came back everybody was already inside the Old Library. I sat at the back this time, because the front row already been occupied. I sat down, look at the attendance sheet that I need to fill out. I haven't even got the chance to fill it out, then suddenly the examination started without any warning, and they started at 8.55am, not at 9am.ivanjaya.net

I flipped my paper to the first section, Part A. I skim through the page, and listen to the audio. Then, within 20 seconds the text was already finished. I was like ivanjaya.net. I didn't even get a word they were saying because I was not fully prepared, and so does everybody. We were looking at each other with our flabbergasted faces. Still, throughout the whole listening process, I find it hard to detect the word that I need to write on the blanks. Luckily the texts were read for the 2nd time.ivanjaya.net

I found it kinda funny because people who were reading the audio texts were our lecturers. Miss Azy, Miss Mel, Mr UD and Miss Z were the lecturers that I can identified. There were a few more but I couldn't identify their voices.ivanjaya.net

As the exam finished, I went back to Meranti to help few guys prepare for the BBQ that we had later that day. The event went smoothly even though it was raining cats and dogs earlier. Luckily there were a big shelter, so we were there during the rain. People started to come at 5pm. The event went decently smoothly even though there were some people who didn't manage to get the chicken because they were late, but they still managed to get food because there were plenty of food even after the event.ivanjaya.net

During the event, I went to see E (not the real name) and asked her what has been going on between her and M (not the real name). I had an interrogation with M earlier that day in Meranti when I asked him about E, and he went all blushing. He tried to hide his facial expression, but of course he couldn't hide them from the one who taught him all that, which is me.ivanjaya.net He kept on saying that I should be asking E about them, because he just said he doesn't know anything happening.Yeah, right...!!!ivanjaya.net

Then, during the event I had another interrogation session with E. E said that they haven't declared anything between them but they understand how they both are feeling toward each other. I didn't see this coming until I read their blogs and they always mentioned about each other in each posts. How obvious is that?ivanjaya.net

Well, M and E. I hope you guys will find whatever things that you are trying to find from one another. I'm happy for the both of you. I hope both of you wouldn't mind as I mentioned about you in this entry because I've been dared by E to put this on my blog. Yes, I did it...!!!ivanjaya.net

Okay, I got to go. Tomorrow, I'll be having College Writing 2 paper which will go for 3 hours instead of 2 hours.

Adios amigos...!!!

We have seated for our Grammar exam this morning. Basically, all went smoothly. ivanjaya.net

The questions are slightly easier than I foreshadowed. It was okay when I answered Part A, and then I proceeded to Part B. Once I was at Part C, things started to get difficult. I was beginning to feel uneasy plus with the too-cold air-conditioner. Even I had to give in to the condition because it made my eyes go dry.ivanjaya.net Mr. UD was flabbergasted as he thought I went to see him to ask permission to go to the toilet, but instead I asked permission if I can get my eye-drop from my bag.ivanjaya.net

Well anyway, Part C Text 4 was easier compared to Part C Text 5, as Text 4 I can easily find the mistakes without much difficulties. But when I went to Text 5, the world has just started to fall on me, the sky fall on me...!!!ivanjaya.net On the first reading, I only identified 3 mistakes...!!! I think I have mistakenly identified the correct sentence structure into the wrong ones. All the confidence that was building up in me of getting a excellent result for Grammar suddenly dropped...!!!ivanjaya.net

I quickly finished the paper and got out from the exam hall sharp at 11.20am. When the paper finished, I went to see Mr. UD so that I can get my carry marks. When I went there, Fifa, Aini and Fafa were there dying to know their carry marks from Mr.UD as well. Once Mr.UD settled their marks, it was my turn after that. At first, he congratulated me for getting 17.27/20 for my Test 2. It's the second highest for my class, which the highest was Farah with 17.34/20 (if I'm not mistaken). Congrats Farah...!!!ivanjaya.net

Not only that, Mr. UD revealed my carry marks and to my surprise I got 49.83% out of 60%. I was almost jumping in Mr. UD's office because I never thought I would get that kind of mark because compared to the 1st semester, I only got 39.6% out of 60%. All the confidence that I lost during the exam was coming back to me. I think that I could survive this course this semester. I'm so grateful...!!! Thank you so much, Mr. UD...!!!ivanjaya.net

I have just finished completing the lecturer's evaluation via i-Learn. Basically, I gave every lecturer the same really high evaluation because I think they deserved it, even though some might find they don't.ivanjaya.net

Now, I have the momentum on confidence in me. InsyaALLAH, everything will go smoothly after this. I have faith in myself now. Now I can cross TSL082 - Introductory Literature and TSL042 - Grammar 2. Next, we have TSL032 which is Listening & Speaking 2. I will try my best to get an A for this course because last semester I didn't manage to get what I wanted for this course. Need to put extra effort to this paper.ivanjaya.net

See ya...!!!

We have just finished with our Introductory Literature paper today. It was so-so and I was confused with some of the question. I find it hard to answer "The Story of an Hour" question but the rest are okay. I'm so relief that one of the hardest paper has passed. So now I can concentrate on the next paper which is Grammar. I'm writing a short entry today because Aimi Syafiqah said that I always write really long blog entries, so today it's short.ivanjaya.net

I better get going. Grammar blue book, here I come...!!!ivanjaya.net

The 2nd semester final examination is just around the corner, but problems and crises just suddenly fall on me.ivanjaya.net

But before I say anything, I just want to let you know that I cut my hair earlier today and it went badly wrong. So, everybody (especially Adam) is laughing at me at the moment. ivanjaya.net But it's okay because I know my hair will grow back, I just have to be patient with it. I'll try to style my hair so that it will look less funny. ivanjaya.net

So, the problem that I'm facing right now is the problem that my family has been facing since the few years ago. Being the remembrance, I can remember things as if they just happened yesterday. Our family's problem is my Dad, the so called name that I've been bringing everywhere. It's not that I'm not being grateful of having him as a father, but there's a non-stop crisis since the year 2003 which caused by him. If the crisis is different, then I might not be as tired as this but it is the same crisis over and over again till the year 2010, or maybe in the future. It's about my Dad and women. ivanjaya.net

My Mom called me few weeks ago telling me that my Dad has another woman. So, I thought to myself, not again. I laughed when I heard the news from my Mom because it's what I've been anticipated since the day my parents got back together and it has finally happened.ivanjaya.net My Dad has been having 'another woman' since the year 2003 with different women, like I mentioned earlier. The first time he went 'koo-koo' with a woman named Anie, which was his so-called first love. I was the one who found out about my Dad having an affair as I accidentally checked on his text messages stored in his Inbox. Then, whenever my Dad went crazy because of other women, he will somehow sacrifice a lot of his fortune for the so-called another lover which result the whole family in facing bankruptcy (not literally).ivanjaya.net

When my parents got divorced on the year 2007, it was because of another 'another woman' named Anne. He said he fell for her because she has the resemblance of his first love Anie, which I thought was bull because there are big differences between the both of them. My Mom didn't agree with my Dad wanting to have Anne as his second wife, so he threatened my Mom of having a divorce. My Mom was in a dead end, a dilemma between a divorce or allowing my Dad to marry another. In the end, my parents got a divorce for the 2nd time (the first divorce happened when I was 3 months old, where my Dad accidentally divorced my Mom out of anger).ivanjaya.net

When my Dad finally got what he wanted, he suddenly lost interest in Anne, where he suddenly found Anie, again. For the whole year of 2007, my Dad didn't even give us (the children) a cent for our nafkah. Luckily, my Mom has her own job. If not, I think we'll be forced to quit school or even worse kicked out from the house for not being able to pay for everything. They eventually got back together during December 2007 which made their divorce almost a year where my Dad apologized for his mistakes and promised to change. I was angry at my Mom for getting back together with my Dad behind my back with the support of my brother, because I know well how much my Mom had suffered, but I just don't understand why my Mom always has a soft spot for my Dad. I told everybody that my Dad will never ever change but at that time nobody believed what I said.ivanjaya.net

Now, my Dad is crazy with another woman again named Yen. And my anticipation of us facing another bankruptcy has just come true. My Dad has just sold our car, a black MyVi to my aunt because he doesn't have enough money to pay for the car as he has debts everywhere as he spent his money (credit card to be specific) not for his family, but for another woman. Since we had our first car (Wira, then Iswara, then Landcruiser, then Kenari and now MyVi), we've been changing cars because my Dad never had enough money to pay for the monthly payment as he used all his money for his 'another woman'. It's not that he couldn't afford it from the very first place, but he spent unnecessarily for another woman, not even his family.ivanjaya.net

I just don't know why my Dad never understood why his children (except me) ran away and went to boarding school. They did that because they can't even stand to be in a room alone with my Dad because of what he had done. I couldn't imagine my 13 year-old brother would have the feeling of punching my Dad in the face. My Mom told me luckily our house is under her name, if not we might be forced to live under the bridge near our house.ivanjaya.net

I know this problem won't affect me in any way possible because I was sitting for my PMR when my parents got divorce and I was happy they did it. It's just that it made me freakingly sad thinking that when I come home on the 24th March there will be no car fetching me from the airport. I love that car so much, as I was the who paid much attention to it when my Dad neglected it even though I know it wasn't me who paid for the monthly payment but I was too attach to the car. I brought the car to school, I brought the car for service, I brought the car to car-wash to get it clean.

I'm just glad that I'm the one who is facing this problem. Because I know, fellow readers. If it were you to face and live in this kind of family, you'll commit suicide in the first place.

Ya ALLAH, when will my Dad change...???ivanjaya.net

During one of the College Reading classes in the 2nd semester, we were instructed by Madam Nazeera to write a letter to ourselves. She gave us the things that we should write in the letter. There was supposed a follow-up activity for the letter, but due to time constraint we didn't pull through. I opened the letter today and I was surprised for what I have written in the letter. Sometimes, I never knew that I was the one who wrote it. So, I will show you what I've written. Here goes. ivanjaya.net

Assalamualaikum...

My name is Muhammad Izdihar. I am the third son of a man whose name is Rijap Saman works as an officer of a firefighter officer in the airport department. I think I am a natural-born leader. I've been trained to be a leader since I was in primary school. I've always been involved in group works and people would always choose me as their leader. Up until now, being a leader has already been a part of myself. I believe that even when we have to do things that are difficult but if we do it sincerely, we're going to be happy and to doing them in any way possible. That's how I feel being a leader.

I don't think, but I know that my friends know how do I do my job as a leader. I also know that most of the guys used to have doubts about me being their leader as they see me as an incapable person of doing work like this. Thank goodness, when they get used to the way I'm handling my responsibilities, they began to accept me for who I am. As for my family, I think I'm the 'black sheep' of the family. Don't get me wrong but I'm the positive kind of 'black sheep'. I'm the only child in my family that is strong in the linguistic field. Apparently, I'm the only child who is good with languages. I know Mandarin as I went to Chinese primary school for 6 years. I al am also the only child who managed to get As for English in UPSR, PMR and SPM. My family would always refer to me when it comes to English language usage.

My strengths are my bravery, my confidence, my talkativity talkativeness and my voice. As far as I'm concern, I'm really grateful to have these abilities in me. I love to talk and sing. I don't think it's vain if I say I have a pretty good singing voice. My bravery and confidence allow me to be able to talk in front of crowds without having a stage fright. My talkativeness enables me to do presentations effectively. All my strengths are beneficial to me as I always want to be a singing lecturer.

My weakness is I have the tendency to care for my friends too much. Sometimes, I care about my friends more that I care about my family. I've been back-stabbed many times already until I've lost count. But that's my weakness. No matter how my much my friends had hurt me, I still care about them no matter what. I think I will use my weakness to show to my friends how much I care about them. I'm thinking that by doing so, they wouldn't be easily hurting me in the future anymore. I just hope they would understand more how I feel and be more empathetic.

As a student, I want to be excellent. All these while in my whole life, I've only been one of the best students, never been the best student so far. So, my goal is to be the best student and to be listed in the Dean's List but I really have to strive because I only got 3.18 for my 1st semester in ASASI TESL, UiTM.

My goal enables me to be what I want have always wanted to be in my life. I've always wanted to be an establish and successful singing lecturer. By becoming an excellent student, I'm sure with God's willing too, I can be what I want, easily.

I'm going to be a singing lecturer in the next 10 years. This I promise myself. I wish, I hope and I will get what I want because I will never give up until I have reached my goal.

Yours truly,
Iz Rijap
